Me and What I've Made

  1. 18.05.2026Artificial Intelligence

100 StaryUP Hackathon β€” My First Hackathon

I took part in the 100 StaryUP Hackathon, organized by YTU Startup House in collaboration with TΓΌrksat Satellite Communication Cable TV and Operation Inc. and supported by NVIDIA β€” my very first hackathon. Over 48 hours, my team and I built an AI-based logistics automation solution. Along the way I learned how to ship something that works under a tight deadline, prepare a pitch that meets the jury's expectations, and deliver a product as a team.

Teknofest Artificial Intelligence β€” Team Captain & Member

Competed in Teknofest's AI categories as both team captain and member. Took part in a project focused on AI-based cancer detection in the abdominal region. Alongside model development and presentations, I sharpened leadership and teamwork in the field.

    Arduino-Based Smart Home System

I handled the entire product design and manufacturing process solo, from start to finish. I designed and built an Arduino-based smart-home system that controls curtains and room lighting via phone.

Deneyap Workshops β€” Robotics & Competitions

With the training from the Deneyap Workshops I took part in robotics competitions and project presentations, gaining end-to-end experience from design to prototyping. I took foundational courses on the Internet of Things (IoT), API usage, and the C language.

Social Responsibility β€” Turkish Spinal Cord Injuries Association

In high school I actively contributed to social-responsibility projects β€” above all with the Turkish Spinal Cord Injuries Association β€” developing empathy-driven solutions that touch the community.

Little Crusoe β€” My First Story Game

My first-ever game, built on Scratch: a story that branches with the player's choices. With character voice acting, a multilingual interface, boss battles and a cloud-saved global player counter, it grew past 1,500 code blocks. I shipped the last update on 11 August 2021.

    Fully Automatic Garage (TOG)

An Arduino project I built over the mid-term break: a fully automatic 9-car parking whose roof is normally open but closes when it rains. Back then I wanted an open/close roof β€” since it wasn't a sliding design it needed plenty of torque, but that was the call I made. :) The gate opens as cars enter and leave, the lights come on at night, and a display shows how many cars are inside.

About

Engineer, Maker & Team Lead

A Computer Engineering student at YΔ±ldΔ±z Technical University who turned an early curiosity for technology into hands-on practice.

I have competed in Teknofest's artificial-intelligence categories as both a team captain and a member β€” experiences that sharpened my leadership and teamwork. By combining what I learned in software and hardware, I built Arduino-based smart-home systems.

Through training at the Deneyap Workshops I took part in robotics competitions and project presentations. I see technology not merely as something that keeps advancing, but as a force that can solve problems and touch lives for the better.

With that vision, in high school I took an active role in social-responsibility projects β€” above all with the Turkish Spinal Cord Injuries Association β€” strengthening my ability to build empathy-driven solutions. In my free time I play the guitar, which keeps my mind rested and my creativity flowing.
